Lisa Shulist

Program Manager at the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA)

As a Program Manager at the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA), Lisa Shulist joined the Conferences and Seminars department in 2010 and soon became responsible for the planning and execution of the OACCAC Annual Conference and Trade Show, in conjunction with staff from the OACCAC. Lisa is also the lead for the OHA’s new Corporate Sponsorship initiative, launched in July 2011.

The OHA offers an unlimited number of sponsorship opportunities across four educational product lines including Conferences and Seminars, Continuing Education, Distance Learning and the Governance Centre of Excellence (GCE).  Each year about 30,000 health care professionals attend more than 150 OHA educational events, helping them stay abreast of health care education and providing exposure to  products and services that may benefit their organizations.

Together with sponsors, Lisa creates customized strategies and packages to help partners meet business objectives, increase brand awareness and deliver a positive ROI.

“My sponsorship role is all about fostering positive, long-term partnerships that benefit our stakeholders and support our members by exposing them to high quality products and services aligned with innovation and quality improvement,” says Lisa. “It’s a win-win situation for all.”

Prior to the OHA, Lisa held several event management positions in various sectors including manufacturing, finance and health care. She has a Diploma in Convention Management from Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario.

Outside of work, Lisa has a variety of interests that keep her on the go.  She is an avid gardener and enjoys reading, hiking and improving her golf game, weather permitting!
