The Physician and Professional Issues section of the OHA website, under “Services – Physician and Professional Issues”, has undergone a recent change to its layout.
The new layout features more comprehensive categorization of physician and professional issues content and a ‘Quick Links’ navigation bar on its main page, for fast and convenient access to information on the latest topics. All physician and professional issues content is organized into four broad categories: Current Initiatives, Events and Education, Tools and Resources, and Links.
One of OHA’s current physician initiatives is the creation of the Physician Provincial Leadership Council, a team of engaged hospital and physician leaders that provide strategic advice to the OHA on various physician-related matters that impact hospital-based practice in Ontario. The Physician Provincial Leadership Council web page provides further information on the Council’s mandate and recent accomplishments. The biographies of Council members are also available online and can be viewed by clicking here.
Another new feature on the Physician and Professional Issues section of OHA.com is Health Profession Nuggets, a compilation of links to current news articles, reports, and studies relating to physicians and other health professionals. New editions of Health Profession Nuggets will be compiled and uploaded to the site once or twice a month, to inform visitors of the latest physician and professional issues information available.
