Taking place on Monday, February 13, 2012 (1:00PM - 2:00PM EST), and as a preview of the Advisory Human Resources Investment Center (HRIC) program, the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) is pleased to announce a special webconference for OHA hospital and associate members on Engaging the Physician Workforce: Cultivating Effective Physician Leaders.
All interested executives, managers, and staff members are encouraged to participate; however, the material is intended for HR leaders and/ or those accountable for the physician leadership development process.
Given their unique combination of organizational authority and clinical credibility, existing physician leaders command substantial influence within the wider physician population. While there is much hospital leadership can do in laying a foundation for engagement, actualizing the strategy will depend in large part on physician leader assistance. To this end, willing physician leadership partners have proven invaluable to successful engagement initiatives.
This webconference will explore best practices to enhance formal development efforts and strengthen physician leader ranks based on research with hospitals and health care organizations in the United States.
