This one-day certificate program is designed for experienced directors who are involved in governance development with their health care board - hence, governance committee chairs and members, board chairs and CEOs or those entering into these roles would be the intended audience.
The course will give participants a deeper understanding of the emerging practices influencing good governance. Participants will identify topics their boards should consider addressing such as issues of board quality, role clarification and the board development process.
The Certificate for Implementing the Guide to Good Governance will take place in Toronto on February 6, 2012. Participants will receive a copy of the Guide to Good Governance - Second Edition as part of the program material.
