Our Quality and Patient Safety Plan for 2010 to 2013 sets out to ensure that all Ontarians receive safe, appropriate and effective quality care, and that providers work together to contribute to a high-performing health system – all in the context of three overarching goals:
• To champion the adoption of a culture of quality and patient safety
• To advocate for system alignment of national, provincial and local quality and patient safety initiatives and measurements
• To advance the system-wide adoption and dissemination of leading evidence-based practices in quality and patient safety
