Communicable Disease Protocols: Tuberculosis 

Attend the Infection Control and Occupational Health Nurses Session at this year’s HealthAchieve to hear from Dr. Mary Vearncombe, Medical Director, Infection Prevention and Control at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre speak about Communicable Disease protocols specific to Tuberculosis.

Also hear from Public Health Nurses, Karen Mulvey and Marlene Jantzi-Bauman discuss a Tuberculosis outbreak that took place in a long-term care facility and the impact on surrounding acute care hospitals. They will also share one centre’s experience and impact on infection control practitioners and occupational health nurses.

The Infection Control and Occupational Health Nurses session takes place on Monday, November 7, 2011 during HealthAchieve at the Metro Toronto
